Dec. 3, 2008 (China Knowledge) - Chinese stocks opened slightly higher on Wednesday morning after Wall Street's rebound.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index, which covers both A shares and B shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange, opened higher at 1903.43, up 0.73% or 13.79 points from the previous closing.

The Shenzhen Component Index on the smaller Shenzhen Stock Exchange opened 0.56% or 38.05 points higher at 6833.86 points.
